Terms of use

These terms cover your use of the Sojournal app and this website. By using Sojournal, you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the activity on your account. Let us know promptly if you think someone else has access.

Your content

Your trips, photos, and notes are yours. You keep all rights to them. You grant Sojournal only the limited permission needed to store, sync, and display your content back to you (and to anyone you explicitly share a read-only link with).

Acceptable use

• Don't upload content you don't have the right to, or that's unlawful.
• Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or access other people's data.
• Don't use Sojournal to harass others or infringe their rights.

Free and paid plans

Sojournal is free to start. An optional paid plan unlocks extras such as unlimited trips and offline backups. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their billing and refund rules. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Availability

We work to keep Sojournal running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. We aren't liable for indirect or incidental losses to the extent the law allows. Always keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable — exporting a trip takes a moment.

Changes & ending use

We may update these terms or the service over time; significant changes will be dated above. You can stop using Sojournal and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
